The Styley: Dispatch from Greece #2

So it occurred to me, as I was editing all of my photos, that these blog posts could come off as, well, I don't know, sort of annoying? Like, take a minute out of your busy day to look at my fabulous life and feel bad that your life isn't nearly as fabulous? Anyone who's been on Facebook for any amount of time knows exactly what I mean. Even if you don't want to admit it.

So I get it. I felt like I needed to pinch myself every 30 seconds while I was in Greece. The place is amazing--I had no idea--and I feel very, very, very lucky to have had the opportunity to go at all, not to mention the wonderful things I was able to do, the places I was able to see and stay. And, of course, the things I was able to eat. Two words on that in particular: Fennel sausage. Aidells, are you listening? And if you are, we'll have to discuss what my piece is in this collaboration.

Anyway. The point is that even a year ago, I wouldn't have imagined myself on this trip. And five years ago it would have been even more impossible. The take home is pretty basic: anything can happen, you just never know. If these photos show even a tenth of the wonder I felt while I was away, then I've accomplished quite a lot indeed.
