Fashion. Retail. I do new business.

What do you like about your job?

There are always new accounts, and I like interacting with different people.

Where do you live in the city?

I live on 13th and 3rd.

What do you like best about that neighborhood?

It’s really cool. People are young. It’s kind of hipster/luxury.

Where do you hang out there?

I like the restaurant The Smith. And right below my building is Penny Farthing, which is a nice bar.

How would you describe your style, first in terms of dress, and then in terms of your way of being in the world?

Casual but with a sense of luxury. In terms of living, spontaneous and fun.

If you could buy anything you wanted right now, what would it be? Cost is no object.

An apartment.

What neighborhood?

There’s a building on 10th Avenue and 23rd Street that I was checking out today, and I thought, “Maybe I should work more.”

Where are you from?

Turkey.

When did you move here from Turkey?

I went to UVa for college five years ago. And then I came to the city about a year and a half ago.

And was coming to the city always the plan?

It was, actually. It wasn’t an accident. Now I don’t know. Maybe I’ll stay here for two years, maybe I’ll stay here for four months. I have no plans.

That’s good. Spontaneous.
