So what do you do?
I’m an artist. I make jewelry, I make prints, I make life beautiful. I smell the roses every day, and appreciate the the things that put a smile on your face.
What are you most inspired by?
Color schemes. Meeting new people that have a lot to say. Putting a splash into life. Spreading the color.
Who are some artists you particularly admire?
Monet. I love his tranquil colors. Pollock, because I love to splash different bold colors together and make it unique. Yesterday Picasso’s Girl with the Yellow Hair inspired me. I’m a poet too, and I write about art and words and creativity.
So you live on the Upper East Side. Where do you hang out up here?
I’m kind of over the scene, but the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is a good place to read a book. I love how the chairs are facing outward, so it’s like a running fashion show all the time. I met the cutest 94-year-old woman the other day, sitting here. She was wearing this black floral hat.
If you had a life philosophy or mantra, what would it be?
There are no regrets in life. Move on and move up.
