What do you do?

I work at Busby Productions, which is John Stewart’s production company.

What do you do there?

I’m an assistant to the head of development and programming. We work for The Daily Show and The Colbert Report, and we do other things, some documentaries, etc.

What does a typical day look like for you?

It varies. People come in the office. We brainstorm ideas. The Night of Too Many Stars is coming up, it’s a big benefit for autism that we host. Right now it’s sort of slow because it’s summer. It picks back up in the fall.

Did you grow up in New York?

I grew up in Westchester.

So what is your favorite thing about living in New York?

In New York you can walk anywhere and find something new that you haven’t seen before. It’s filled with people, which is very exciting.

Where do you like to hang out right now?

I love the Flatiron district. I love Tribeca.

What something you’ve learned or discovered recently?

The subways.

If you had a life philosophy or mantra, what would it be?

Don’t take anything too seriously.
