So you’re here on vacation, and you said you’ve been traveling for eight months. Where have you gone?

We started in Australia for five months, and then New Zealand for one month. Then Fiji, Hawaii, San Francisco and around California, Los Vegas and the Grand Canyon. And then Cancun in Mexico, and now we’re here.

What inspired you to travel for so long?

I just wanted to see the world. I was working, and I was bored.

What were you doing before?

Working at a hospital.

What was your favorite place? What were the things that stood out to your on your travels?

New Zealand was really beautiful. Everywhere we went was amazing. And there was so much to do, like bungee jumping and sky diving. The people are so nice.

Do you think you’ll ever live abroad?

Maybe in a few years.

Did traveling change your perspective about that?

Yes. I’m going to travel some more.

How much longer?

I’m going to go home and work, and then I’m going to travel for six months.

Where are you going to go on this trip?

Asia and South America.

You’re going to cover the rest of the world.

Yeah. I’m going to go to Russia, too. I want to go everywhere.

How is it that you speak English so well?

Thank you. We study English at school. We start when we’re ten, and I went to Australia when I was nine for a year.

What’s the best piece of advice that you’ve received?

Live now, while you’re young.
