Yesterday was Bay to Breakers, San Francisco’s annual display of athleticism and drinking (you can read last year’s post here). I thought I should at least put in an appearance since it might be the last one I attend for a while, but I after about 30 minutes I jumped ship and headed to Brenda’s for breakfast. Another stop on the farewell eating tour!

I hadn’t been to Brenda’s in a while, and they’ve redone the interior. It looks great, roomy, airy, light. And the food is as delicious as ever. I was there with my friend Will (who you can read about here), my B2B partner in crime last year, and we had crawfish beignets, peach cobbler pancakes, eggs Benedict and biscuits. Yum. Be prepared to wait, no matter when you go. There’s always a line, even on a Tuesday afternoon. Still, it’s worth it.
