Streetstyle: Anna Shoop

Glasses: Three for $15 in Palm Springs. Shirt: Thrift store in San Antonio. Jeans: Zara Women’s via Buffalo Exchange. Shoes: Miz Mooz (one of Anna’s favorite brands). Pocketbook: Second Chance in Omaha, one of her favorite vintage stores.

Anna is a flight attendant, which means that she can indulge her love of vintage all over the country. Pretty cool. The pocketbook that she’s sporting–which was the thing that drew me to her, aside from her general adorableness and our shared ghostly paleness–is one of her favorite items. In her report of what she was wearing and who was responsible for it, she was kind enough to mention her new eyelash extensions, purchased at Cece Beauty at 440 7th in Oakland.

Toward the end of our conversation I asked her if there was anything else I should know. She said, “I’m almost as pale as you.” And it’s true. Some people are meant to be tan, and others are meant to be ultraviolet. Nothing wrong with that.

Proof that style doesn’t have to cost and arm & a leg. She looks so great because her clothes fit her well and she knows what looks good on her. Great shot!

Thank you! I couldn’t agree with you more. I love it when the people I photograph have affordable style–it just proves it’s possible to look great, no matter what your budget.
