I did not attend Coachella this past weekend, but if I had, I might have considered a pair of ripped jeans for the sake of ventilation during the day, and a double jacket situation to deal with the evening chill. And of course the button-down goes both ways. White linen is always fresh in hot weather, and it works as a nice layering piece in the cold.

I rather like this pair of distressed jeans from Asos. The holes are–dare I say it?–almost ladylike. These from Current/Elliott are also cute.

How do you guys feel about decorative distress? Cool or not worth the money?
