Street Style: Haus of Hipstamatic

Last night my friend Sarah (see my post on her here) and I went to an awesome art show at the Haus of Hipstamatic, featuring one of the great Instagram photographers, Anton Kawasaki (or @anton_in_nyc, for IG peeps). The space was awesome, full of exposed brick and cool chandeliers, and I introduced myself to Anton, who was adorable and very nice. There was a woman walking around with an iPad taking pictures with IncrediBooth, an app that turns your iPad 2, iPhone 4/4s, or iPod touch (4th generation) into an old-school analog photo booth. The Hipstamatic gang developed it, naturally.

Tomorrow I’m attending 1197is, a day-long iPhoneography conference. Photo nerds unite! The name of the conference is based on the date the first camera phone picture was taken. The person responsible for said photo, Philippe Kahn, will be running a workshop, so that should be pretty sweet. I’m seriously psyched about it, and you guys can look forward to seeing my photos of the experience.
