Just For You is one of my favorite breakfast joints in SF (for more streetstyle seen there, click here). My friend Dave, who I met at a temp job right after I moved west, introduced me to the beignets, the homemade bread, the fluffy pancakes. On my own I discovered Cherie’s Home Fry Special, which involves sauteed veggies and cheese over a mound of ragingly good homefries, and the bourbon pecan pie. And recently, when I started taking photographs, I noticed that Just For You’s patrons tend to have great style.

Madeleine Ward is a graphic designer, and her work, which you can find here, is absolutely beautiful. I was drawn to her huaraches, a shoe that always makes me think of the Mediterranean, of southern France and Italy, of Gwyneth Paltrow (who has a super-cool lifestyle site of her own, Goop) in The Talented Mr. Ripley. According to Madeleine, you can find tons of huraches on Etsy at the moment, so go get yourself a pair.
And if you’re planning to get brunch this weekend, definitely check out Just For You, 732 22nd Street at 3rd Street. If you go early, the line moves pretty quickly, but if not, there’s free coffee you can drink while you’re standing around outside. How cool is that?
