Streetstyle: Glitter Guide launch party part deux

Last night I celebrated a friend’s birthday by going to the Berkeley Rep to see Anna Deveare Smith’s new one-woman show Let Me Down Easy. Amazing. A true work of art–so moving, so thought-provoking. If you can get tickets, I wholeheartedly suggest checking it out.

Now, back to the task at hand. A couple of days ago I promised you more photographs from the Glitter Guide launch party (see my earlier post here), and more photographs you shall have.

As you know, I can't resist anything in the cape/poncho/cloak family.

Angela Tafoya, contributing writer at Refinery 29 (read her most recent article here) and community assistant at Sugar Inc., made my evening by telling me, when I approached her about taking her picture, that she’d actually heard of The Styley! So great. Apparently she works with Britt Stephens, who I photographed at the Refinery 29 party I attended a couple of months ago. You can see Britt, who’s perfectly adorable, here.

Some of you may already know Blair Eadie, author of the blog Atlantic-Pacific. I was totally impressed by her ability to rock the open coat perched on the shoulder look. It’s very difficult to get away with it (unless you’re French), which is a shame, because it really provides a terrific frame for the rest of your outfit:

The minute I saw that hairbow, I knew it had to appear in The Styley.
